PART ONE: Revenue Recognition Changes for Not-for-Profit Organizations
DETAILS: In this session, we will discuss how the revenue recognition standards will affect your not-for-profit organization by breaking down the standard into easy to understand language. We will address the various types of revenue streams that are common for not-for-profit organizations. In addition, we will discuss FASB’s recent clarification on distinguishing grants and other contracts between a contribution and an exchange transaction.
PART TWO: Financial Reporting Changes for Not-for-Profit Organizations
DETAILS: In this session, we will discuss the key changes to the financial statement presentation, as well as what you need to do to prepare your organization for these changes. We will highlight the new disclosure requirements on liquidity and availability of financial assets and provide guidance on preparing the new disclosure for your organization. We will also provide several examples of the new financial reporting changes and disclosure requirements.
