Developing a Robust, Effective and Site-Specific Conceptual Site Model (CSM)

About this event

This panel discussion, led by NHBC, will explore the current state of play with regards to Conceptual Site Model (CSM) development from the initial desk study through to remediation, understanding how they are used in site modelling and managing appropriate assumptions, data gaps and uncertainty to produce a robust and accurate CSM on which to base the remediation strategy.

This event will explore:

  • CSMs from a NHBC perspective– the current state of play, what we currently see and what we’d like to see
  • Understanding CSMs used in models (e.g. CLEA, remedial targets, methodology worksheet etc) - are the assumptions etc appropriate for your site?
  • CSMs to inform the remediation strategy

Chair: Karen Thornton, Land Quality Service Manager, NHBC

Speakers:

  • Matthew Lennard, Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer, NHBC
