    Anna Volak SLR Consulting

My name is Anna and I have been an ecologist with SLR for just over two years. I specialise in mammal ecology with a particular focus on bats and badgers. In a nutshell, my work requires me to carry out protected species surveys on areas of land that will or may be developed and turned into projects such as cable routes for wind farms, solar farms and battery energy storage systems. We also encourage developers to build in a way that won’t harm any protected species, retain, or create as much suitable habitat as possible and also provide additional resources for the protected species using the site.
