About this event
Third-party verification is a critical part of the EPD process — but as EPD demand grows, many organizations struggle with slow workflows, repeated review cycles, and delayed approvals.
In this webinar, Nemanja Nedic, Program Manager at EPD Hub, will discuss why traditional verification processes are often inefficient and the business impact of delayed EPDs, including missed tender opportunities and delayed product launches. Since February this year, EPD Hub is a purely independent verification body that can verify results from any LCA software, not just One Click LCA. This means we are software agnostic.
Chiara Franchi, LCA & EPD Global Project Manager at Signify, will share how Signify scales EPD development through standardized data collection, template-based modelling, and internal quality processes that improve consistency across large product portfolios.
Dr. Yazan Badour, LCA and EPD Verification Specialist will provide the verifier perspective, covering common reasons EPDs get delayed, what enables faster approvals, and how structured digital workflows improve transparency and efficiency. The results are automatically published in machine-readable format to the ECO Platform as a fast, automated and end-to-end process.
The session will conclude with a practical demonstration by Josefina Pallas, Product Owner at EPD Hub showcasing workflows and approaches that help reduce review cycles and speed up verification. Of course, quality does not suffer because of speed - since we use a digital platform with embedded AI for pre-checks, our verification is not just faster, but often also more accurate than human verification.
