RailTech Master Class - What’s at Stake in the EU’s Capacity Regulation for Rail Freight?

About this event

The European rail freight sector is at a critical turning point. For shippers, the proposed Railway Infrastructure Capacity Regulation could bring significant improvements: more reliable freight services, reduced delays, and enhanced cross-border coordination. However, this regulation is far from finalized. With negotiations ongoing between the European Parliament, the Council, and the Commission, its final shape—and its impact on the rail freight industry—remains uncertain.

Join Tilly Metz, Member of the European Parliament and a key advocate for sustainable transport, as she explores the political landscape behind the regulation and what’s at stake for the future of European rail freight. This exclusive webinar will address:

  • The ambitions of the European Commission to modernize capacity planning and improve rail freight performance.
  • The differing positions of the Parliament and the Council and their potential implications for shippers and rail freight operations.
  • How the outcome of the negotiations could shape cross-border operations, reliability, and supply chain efficiency.

Discover how this regulation could transform European rail freight and what it means for businesses like yours navigating this evolving landscape.
