Mr. Shawn Gordon is an energetic finance professional with over four years of experience in the financial arena. Holding a master’s degree in economics and finance from Murray State University and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level II candidate, he has consistently demonstrated a knack for strategic financial planning, risk management, and investment analysis throughout his career. Currently employed by the Financial Services Commission of Belize (FSC), Mr. Gordon is tasked with the critical role of helping to create a robust regulatory environment for the Belizean capital market through securities legislation. His expertise in both the private and public sectors, coupled with a keen eye for emerging opportunities, has earned him a reputation as a focal contact for securities business within the FSC.
Mr. Jaheem Franzua has been the Securities Licensing & Authorisations Officer at the FSC since March 2024. In this role, he is responsible for the processing of applications and services pursuant to the Securities Industry Act and Securities Industry Regulations. Additionally, he is responsible for the continuous monitoring of portfolio of registrants to ensure compliance with the relevant laws, regulations and standard conditions issued by the Commission and other regulatory bodies.
