Their talks will be pertinent to individuals working in and collaborating with bereavement services. The event seeks to boost the confidence of bereavement staff in effectively guiding the bereaved towards support agencies, sharing the best practices in bereavement services across different contexts, and discussing hot topics in the field.

Louise Dillon is passionate about improving understanding and comfort around grief,. She experienced profound personal loss with the deaths of both her parents while still in her twenties. In 2019, Louise faced the devastating diagnosis of her 13-year-old son Fred with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia; he died ten months later. Since then, Louise has become a prominent voice on grief, contributing to the Huffington Post, New Statesman, BBC Breakfast, Good Morning Britain, ITV News, Sky News, and Global Radio. Louise aims to help organisations be better able to support people in navigating their own journeys of loss.
