This event focuses on The Community Impact Initiative’s efforts to regenerate empty homes as a means to support local communities by helping people gain skills, achieve qualifications, improve their well-being, and move towards employment.

The Community Impact Initiative (The Cii) use the regeneration of empty homes as a vehicle to help local people gain skills, achieve qualifications, improve their wellbeing and move towards employment. Since 2017, they have supported over 300 people and have brought ten empty properties back into use. Catrin will discuss the organisation’s work in South Wales, exciting plans to bring Cii projects up to Scotland and how the team uses/will use partnership working to regenerate empty homes whilst helping local people gain the skills and qualifications needed to find work.
