Jörg A Vogelsang obtained a Diploma in Chemistry in 1988 and he wrote his PhD – thesis in the group of Prof. Dr. M. Hauser at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the University of Stuttgart, Germany about “convolution kinetics treatment of various excimer formation mechanisms with respect to non – stationary diffusion and molecular reaction parameters” (1991). Since 1992 he is working for Sika. Since 2013 he is elected BoA member of European Federation of Corrosion (EFC) and in 2014 he started to serve as vice president of GfKORRe.V, the German Corrosion Society. 2019-2020 he was the Vice President of EFC and since 2021 he is President of EFC
Graduated from the Chemico-Technological University named after Mendeleev in Moscow. He received his Ph.D. in physical chemistry and corrosion. He has experience in corrosion, corrosion control and corrosion monitoring from 1976 in the oil refining, oil and gas, and chemical industry and teaching the subject of corrosion.
Eduardo Troche holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry by the Universities of Vigo and Santiago de Compostela. After working as R&D consultant, in 2016 he joined the IMDEA Materials Inst. as manager of MATERPLAT, and now he is the Head of the tech tranfer and innovation office of the Institute.
Elena Mielgo holds a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Oviedo. Since 2007 her activity has focused on research into corrosion of metallic materials and their coatings, corrosion in industrial processes and high-temperature corrosion. His current lines of research are the development of probes for monitoring industrial corrosion and the behaviour of metallic alloys in new generation solar thermal power plants. He has participated in more than 15 regional, national and international R&D projects, in several of them as the project leader, and has contributed to more than 10 scientific conferences.
