The agricultural and livestock products will be affected by climate change, together with the increased demand for food and the limited availability of resources will become a challenge for the food sector, both human and animal.

    Professor of Biochemistry and Researcher of the Lab. of Biochemistry in the Bioengineering Department at the IQS. She was appointed by the IQS in 2004 and promoted to Associate Professor in 2010 being researcher in the Laboratory of Biochemistry of the Bioengineering Departament.

    Daniel Ramón is Ph.D. in Biology from the UV. He is currently a Distinguished Research Fellow Microbiome at Archer Daniels Midland Co. Among others, he has obtained the Juan de la Cierva National Research Award and the 2019 Nutraingredients "Nutrachampion" International Award

    Mark Post Chief Scientific Officer @ Mosa Meat

    Prof. Mark Post is MD, PhD and professor at Maastricht University, after positions at Utrecht, Harvard, Dartmouth and TU/e. He engineers tissues for medicine and food. He presented the world’s first hamburger from cultured stem cells in August 2013. He is CSO of MosaMeat, and Qorium, companies that commercialize animal and human products from stem cells.
