About this event
This webinar demonstrates how to use Flownex's dedicated pressurised water reactor component, including its geometry and point kinetics charts, to build a detailed flow and heat transfer model. The reactor model is coupled with a point kinetic neutronic model for heat generation and integrated into a balance of plant system comprising primary and secondary loops. The integrated system's dynamic response is then analysed through a load ramp transient simulation, reducing turbine power from 350 MW to 300 MW to evaluate the performance of the system's PID controllers.
