Foundry invites you to their event

Foundry Live: Look Development and Lighting Meet-Up

About this event

Join Foundry for our virtual meet-up as we reveal key product updates for Katana and Mari, and host some great guest speakers.

Guest speakers will include:

  • Nathan Rusch, Senior Developer at Luma Pictures - Nathan will discuss Luma Pictures’ adoption of Katana and how it has been implemented through their use of USD.
  • Cristian Camaroschi, VFX Supervisor at Mr. X - Cristian will share how Mari fits into Mr. X’s pipeline and how it was used for creature creation in the movie Scary Stories to Tell In The Dark.
  • Jens Kafitz, Texture and Environment Artist and Mari Extension Pack Creator - Jens will demonstrate how Mari can be used as a development tool and platform and how it can enable artists to create an uniquely powerful workflow.

Katana’s upcoming release is tipped to be a game-changer for look development and lighting artists everywhere so this discussion isn’t to be missed. Foundry will also be sharing some exciting insights into what the future holds for Mari.

During the meet-up there will be a live Q&A session, giving you the chance to ask some questions to our industry panel.
