About this event
Let's keep talking!
Created to support the Digital Champions (and their close colleagues) tasked with bringing digital connectivity to towns and cities, our digital drop ins are a light touch way to stay informed.
From the latest digital infrastructure commercial models, like open access, to which innovative partnerships and technology is bringing connectivity to where it matters most.
The digital drop in on Friday the 28th of April will be no exception. Nick Wiggin, Freshwave’s Head of Partnerships, will be hosting a conversation around our industry leading City of London pilot.
Contextualising what the open access model can deliver:
Sye Thevathas, Strategic Infrastructure & Highways Asset Manager, from the City of London will be sharing his insights from seven years’ of collaborating with Freshwave. Originally on a project to roll out a Wi-Fi network in 2017, and more recently on the mobile connectivity pilot covered in many press outlets using outdoor small cells.
A perfect introduction for those of you that haven’t yet attended one of our pilot walking tours, and a chance to ask more questions for those of you that have.
