About this event
As recognized by the Council of Europe the cultural routes play a role in the consolidation of European identity. They recreate the cultural system of terrestrial and maritime routes and can be seen in this framework. Their current promotion entails the adoption of technologies and applications that will enable to access multiple virtual readings of the places along the route. The use of augmented reality applied to historical monuments along the routes allows for an effective comparison between past and present, making it easier to understand for an increasingly large audience.
In this webinar the speakers will try to give a contribution on the potential role of smart technologies in cultural heritage experiences and present some best practices of smart technologies applied to cultural routes.
