Sagittal balance and disc replacement


After a successful first edition, the members of the S.A.C (Spine Arthroplasty Community) sub-group of the GECO offer another opportunity to share their experience.
Such as the first edition, this second webinar is entirely dedicated to spine arthroplasty with a focus on a new generation of cervical and lumbar disc prostheses: using viscoelastic technology. Thanks to their monobloc design viscoelastic prostheses are aimed to restore physiological movements providing six degrees of freedom and three-dimensional motion including shock absorption.
The main thread of this webinar is the restoration of the sagittal balance after total disc replacement.

The GECO is a scientific society created on March 6, 1976 by a group of young surgeons. It brings together doctors and surgeons through its specialty groups in order to share knowledge to better care and train surgeons in current techniques.
