About this event
This Live Q & A with a grain farmer will connect Ontario students with an Ontario grain farmer to answer their questions, and learn more about grain farming in Ontario! Fall time is a very busy time of the year when grain farmers are working on harvesting their soybeans and corn crops, and the perfect time of the year to ask YOUR questions to a grain farmer working hard to grow our food.
Students will:
Ever wondered what a combine is, or how it is used during harvest? Do farmers work in the winter? What do grain crops look like in the field? What foods are made from grains? Have these questions answered during our FOUR live Q&A grain farmer chats!
Want to send in your classroom questions ahead of time? Send us an email to bcurtis@gfo.ca the day of your Q&A and we will have an Ontario grain farmer answer them!
