Green America invites you to its webinar

Hidden Workers Fighting for Change

About this webinar

In so many of our day-to-day purchases, such as food, clothing, electronics, etc., there are workers who are practically invisible. Toiling in fields, mines, or factories, in sweatshop like conditions, under a crushing system of poverty-level wages. And they’re fighting to change the system.

Join our panel discussion as they talk about how these workers are fighting back and what we can do to help:

  • Tracy Fernandez Rysavy, Green America editor-in-chief
  • Rosalinda Guillen, former farmworker and executive director of Community to Community Development, a community-led eco-feminist organization that supports farmworkers in Washington state
  • Sheheryar Kaoosji, executive co-director at Warehouse Workers Resource Center, a nonprofit that aims to improve working conditions in California's warehousing industry
  • Jamie Trinkle, senior campaign and research coordinator from Enlace, an advocacy organization involved in prison divestment
