Supporting students to engage with global opportunities
In the international space, we’re looking at the opportunities that come from cross-cultural and global engagement, and how we can support students to access and succeed in them. There is a rich history of students and universities engaging in opportunities to study and work abroad. The learning contexts around these opportunities are also increasingly being actively examined, alongside work to help students develop global mindsets.
Abigail Gregory kicked off the debate with her article on ‘Internationalisation and experiential learning - natural allies?’. The article highlighted that though opportunities abroad are recovering from COVID and cost of living crisis, only a small fraction of students access these opportunities each year. We will use talks as jumping off points for a wider debate. The speaker list will be shared shortly. The aim for this webinar is to stimulate debate in an under explored area.
