2021 marks 20 years in the Optical Industry for Heather. Upon graduating from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Heather worked in a retail dispensary before moving to the manufacturing side to pursue blending her passion for optics, sales and training.
For over 30 years, INNOVA Medical Ophthalmics has been supplying the Canadian ophthalmic community with the most comprehensive line of diagnostic instruments, supplies, and technical services.
Christine graduated from the Collège Edouard-Montpetit as an registered optician in 2006 and worked for an independent optician boutique in Montreal, QC for almost 10 years before joining Hoya Vision Care in 2015 as a Territory Manager. She is now also Hoya's Field Technical Expert since 2020.
Dr. Trischuk is a partner of a progressive optometry office that prides itself on offering specialty care to its patients. He was honored to have been selected in 2018 as one of the top “40 Under 40” optometrists in Canada by Johnson and Johnson Vision. Myopia Management has become one of his main areas of interest. He is lecturing across Canada to other optometrists and health care professionals on this topic.
Dr Michaud's research interests are the control of myopia, the physiological effects of scleral lenses, the corneal biomechanics associated with keratoconus and the eye manifestations of Fabry's disease. With his recognized expertise, he is often invited as a speaker around the globe.
