Rein Jüriado, Policy Officer at the European Commission

Rein Jüriado works at the European Commission, DG Mobility and Transport, with sustainable transport. His primary focus is the European Alternative Fuels Observatory (EAFO) and the implementation of the EU Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR). He also works with the Clean Transport Corridor Initiative and various other topics. Rein has previously held expert and team leader roles at the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket), the Swedish Innovation Agency (Vinnova), and most recently at Einride, a scale-up in the field of electric and automated freight transport. Born in Estonia, Rein holds an M.Sc. in logistics and supply chain management from the Cranfield University in the UK and Ph.D. in Business Studies from Stockholm University in Sweden.
