IDEXX invites you to their event

Protecting public health from the threat of Legionnaires' disease

About this event

Three expert speakers will answer key questions on Legionella and Legionnaires' disease that are pertinent to laboratory decision makers. Major questions addressed include:

  1. How did the field of Legionella testing evolve, and how does that history influence current laboratory practices?
  2. Do we risk missing a significant amount of disease-causing bacteria by focusing on one species?
  3. Does the widespread use of the UAT test create bias in clinical figures?
  4. Does the presence of non-pneumophila species provide relevant information about L. pneumophila risk?
  5. Do laws mandate testing for all Legionella species?

The speakers will address questions and answers from webinar participants before the event closes.
