The event on "Business in India and Intellectual Property in India" is organised by the India IP SME Helpdesk in collaboration with Eureka Network.
The " Intellectual Property Protection Landscape in India – A Brief Outlook is an event organised by India IP SME Helpdesk in collaboration with Eureka Network aiming to apprise European Union SMEs on Intellectual property laws in India.
Eureka Network is the world's biggest public network for international cooperation in R&D and innovation and is present in over 45 countries.
Globalstars is a Eureka programme that helps organisations explore new markets outside of Eureka’s network with calls for R&D projects focusing on a specific country or region. An Eureka country leads and coordinates the Globalstars call for projects alongside the target country or region.
Innowwide is funded by the European Union as part of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs. With Innowwide, SMEs based in European Union Member States or Iceland, Israel, Norway, Türkiye or the United Kingdom can benefit from a fixed amount of 60,000 euros of funding for market feasibility projects in a chosen target market in Africa, the Americas, Asia or Oceania. There is one Innowwide deadline each year.
India IP SME Helpdesk offers free first-line IP assistance service for SMEs from EU and Single Market Program (SMP)-associated countries that operate or intend to access the Indian market and look to improve their global competitiveness.
The main objective of the session is to raise awareness about the market opportunities that India offers for EU SMEs. The session will focus on intellectual property protection strategies in India and how to best prepare when internationalizing to India.
The session will also apprise SMEs on the importance of Intellectual property protection in the present Industrial 4.0 era and will apprise them of enforcement measures available to protect intellectual assets in India.
