Simultaneously, propelled by national initiatives like Digital India, Make in India, and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes, the country has rapidly evolved into the world's second-largest smartphone manufacturer. Driven by deep investments in semiconductor design, 5G, artificial intelligence, and electronic hardware manufacturing, India's ICT ecosystem continues to transition from service-centric outsourcing toward high-tech innovation and end-to-end manufacturing.
