Autonomous Driving: Ethical guidelines, legal frameworks & results from the ANDRE project

À propos de cet événement

The development and implementation of autonomous vehicles is rising fast, while the scrutiny of some ethical issues fall behind. Therefore, this webinar will highlight key ethical considerations that relate to autonomous vehicles and summarize a few ethical guidelines that were developed by expert groups for industry and policymakers in the automotive sector. Furthermore, the current status of legal frameworks (in Germany) will be sketched. Lastly, findings of our “ANDRE – AutoNomous DRiving Ethics” project will be highlighted, which focused on integrating ethical behavior into the trajectory planning of autonomous vehicles and thereby, aimed to practically implement some of the established high-level ethical recommendations.
