Getting to Equity: Dismantling Racism in Medicine, from Unconscious Bias to Institutional Policy

About this event

Dr. Emily Cleveland Manchanda will introduce foundational topics in health equity, including race as a social construct, unconscious (implicit) bias, microaggressions, privilege and institutional racism. We will conclude by considering strategies for addressing bias and advancing equity within our spheres of influence.
