Private Equity Acquisitions of Healthcare Providers: A Review of the Evidence

About this event

In recent years, healthcare providers, including physician practices, hospitals and nursing homes, have been increasingly acquired by private equity firms. It is important to understand the potential impact of such acquisitions on healthcare use, spending and quality of care. This session reviews the evidence base on private equity in healthcare, along with potential policy levers designed to help mitigate risk associated with the uptick in acquisition.

Who can attend

Registration is limited to ISMIE and SEMPIC policyholders, and their employed staff.
