About this event
This course will provide information about the diagnosis, treatment, and care of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Early diagnosis and thoughtful treatment and management strategies in patients suffering from Alzheimer’s and other dementias are important for maximizing quality of life for patients with these conditions. Furthermore, early detection may allow for treatment and management strategies that may help slow the progression of the disease. All physicians who may potentially engage with patients who are at risk for developing dementia should be up to date on the latest tools to aid in the diagnosis, treatment and management of these conditions.
Chad Yucus, MD is an expert in memory disorders and dementia, focusing on Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and he completed residency and fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Dr. Yucus is board certified in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Neurology.
