Illinois State Medical Society invites you to their event

Physician Leadership: Pearls and Pitfalls 2.0

About this event

Studies have shown that patients and organizations benefit from having physicians in key leadership positions, yet many doctors don’t know how to apply their existing skills to help manage and lead at the organizational or institutional level.

The Illinois State Medical Society invites you to join Dr. Karen Nichols for the second program in a series for physicians interested in becoming more effective leaders. Successful leadership involves recognizing and developing a series of interconnected skills that can help improve one’s ability to influence others and stimulate change. The following concepts will be presented in a case-based format: understanding perspectives, building relationships and teams, conflict management and persuasion techniques. The first program in this series is available on-demand and can be accessed here.

Who can attend:

Registration is limited to ISMS members and their employed staff.
