About this event
Finding ways to effectively engage and educate patients about factors that affect their individual health and the health of the community is among the many challenges physicians face. Increasingly physicians are turning to social media as vehicle through which to influence patients and spread important health concepts beyond the confines of a clinical setting.
The Illinois State Medical Society invites you to join Zachary Rubin, MD, for a program on the use of social media to connect with patients and share important health information in an engaging and accessible way. The session will also cover strategies for effectively using social media to combat the spread of health-related misinformation and disinformation.
Registration is limited to ISMS members and their employed staff.
