About this event
There are over 70 million women of reproductive age in the United States. 99% of those will have used at least one contraceptive method in the roughly three decades they are capable of reproduction during their lives. Between a global pandemic and recent legislative restrictions, there has been a clear need demonstrated for accessible contraceptives. In this lecture, we will review the types of contraceptives, with a specific focus on hormonal contraceptives and their risk and benefit profile. Additionally, we will discuss how hormonal contraceptives can be more accessible.
