Jamie's Farm invites you to their event

The Power of Positivity: Building bridges with young people through communication and empathy

About this event

Going from 'I can't' to 'I can', 'I won't' to 'I will' is a huge part of the transformation we see in young people at Jamie's Farm, but what exactly elicits this shift in mindset in some of the most vulnerable young people? After working with 13,000 of them, we're sharing our thoughts on the power of positivity.

Through this event, we'll be asking: How can we communicate positively with young people? How can we encourage them to communicate positively with each other? Why is empathy so important in all of this?

Relationships are at the heart of any culture, and healthy social connections are shown to reduce levels of anxiety and depression in young people, but many young people are struggling to connect positively with each other or with supportive adults. With the movement towards digitised world, how do we re-prioritise these human connections?

Join us for a discussion about bringing out the best in each other through communication, empathy and positivity; ultimately bringing the joy back into being alongside young people.
