Luca Carrara is the Technical Manager who leads the development of Smart molds in the Rotomolding Business Unit of Persico Group. He has spent the last ten years in the world of rotational molds, facing the challenges proposed by customers to achieve ever higher results thanks to electric heating technology. Always a lover of mechanics and technology, these passions were the inspiration for both his training and his current job.

Alberto VIMERCATI, Global Account Manager Robotics @ ABB - Robotics and Motion Division

Alberto Cesare Vimercati Joined ABB Robotics in 2000 after previous experience in robotics companies and in automotive plastic components suppliers.

He has held several managerial positions within the Italian Sales organization.

Now he leads global account planning for further strengthening engagement and business with ABB Value Provider Companies as Persico SPA.

Walter SIRCHI, Group Service Director @ Persico Group

Over 20 years of experience in maintenance and service in industrial automation, with a strong focus on developing innovative after-sales services and leading customer satisfaction. With a solid academic background in Aerospace Engineering, including a Master's degree from Politecnico di Milano, Walter holds an International Executive MBA from MIP Politecnico di Milano and an Executive in General Management from INSEAD.Throughout his career, Walter has been a driving force in transforming customer service operations by leveraging his passion for innovation and unwavering dedication to enhancing customer satisfaction. Additionally, his keen interest in digitalization of processes and products, as well as artificial intelligence, makes him a well-rounded and versatile professional who thrives on creative solutions to serve customers and pushing the boundaries of excellence in after-sales services.

Camillo GHELFI, CEO @ 40Factory S.r.l.

Camillo Ghelfi, born in 1991, obtained a degree in Computer Science in 2014 at the University of Milan Bicocca, with a thesis related to data transmission protocols in Industrial IoT. Subsequently, he devoted himself to the development and application of digital technologies in machinery, particularly in the context of the pharmaceutical and process industries. In 2018, he founded 40Factory, a hi-tech startup focused on developing Industrial IoT and AI solutions for the industrial world, in which he assumed the role of CEO, which he still holds today. Today 40Factory has 20 employees, more than 70 active large customers and the participation of strategic investors and a leading position in the market. In 2021, together with the association Digital Industry World, he initiated the event "Macchine Connesse - La parola ai costruttori," an annual benchmark event for discussion on digital innovation topics and new business models for the world of industrial machine manufacturers.

Hydrogen

Matteo CORTESI, Sales Director Rotomoulding @ Persico Group

Matteo Cortesi received a Degree in Engineering at Politecnico in Milan, Italy in 1995. He joined Persico Group in 1996 and he has been involved in rotomoulding technology development. Matteo is now working on several projects, where the use of automation can help production to be faster and cheaper.

Siegfried ECKERT, Managing Director @ ECS GmbH & Co. KG

Born in 1961 in Rimbach Germany.
Work experience :

• Mechanical engineer with more than 35 years’ experience in plastic processing
• 12 years’ experience in composite cylinder technology
• Started 2017 with the company ECS Composite, to support customers with engineering and consultancy service for Composite pressure vessels.
