About this webinar
The webinar is organised in the context of the annual concerted action of Justice and Peace Europe. It shall focus on the recent publication of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development Aqua Fons Vitae, a study published in March by WWF EU on the EU contribution to improve international ocean governance.
On the basis of these documents we will also have a look on relevant sections of two strategies on biodiversity and for a fair, healthy and environmentally-friendly food system (Farm to Fork Strategy) which the European Commission published on 20 May. The webinar will enable members and friends of our network to improve their knowledge and judgement and, ultimately, allow them to contribute to the Common Good of the Sea.
The annual concerted action of Justice and Peace Europe aims to promote the Common Good of the Sea by following an integral approach. Justice and Peace Europe is member of a newly formed alliance of Catholic organisations. The European Laudato Si' Alliance (ELSiA) takes its inspiration from the encyclical letter of Pope Francis Laudato Si'.
