Kantar invites you to their event

Is disinformation polluting climate action?

About this event

Climate change disinformation has evolved in recent years – from persuading citizens that man-made climate change is not real, to blocking actions to address it.

With public support for a green transition wavering due to fears around living standards – exacerbated by COVID-19 and the energy cost crisis – it is now more critical than ever for governments and public institutions to tackle disinformation head on.

Join us on Wednesday 15 December for a discussion with climate change disinformation expert Jennie King, and Kantar Public experts who will explore the implications for policy makers, using fresh insights from 11 countries collected using our innovative and industry-leading probabilistic panel, PUBLIC Voice.

In this webinar, our experts will discuss:

  • Who do citizens trust when it comes to information about the environment?
  • How often and where do the public encounter misleading or false information?
  • What can be done about persistent climate change deniers?
  • What are the benefits of using our representative PUBLIC Voice panel?

We look forward to welcoming you, and hope you will find this session insightful and informative.

If you are unable to join the live session, you can still register to watch the on-demand recording afterwards, at a time of your convenience. In the meantime, should you have any questions, please email us at public@kantar.com.
