Carmen Dodds is a paediatric Occupational Therapist with 23 years of experience supporting young children’s development. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) from The University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa) and has worked across various settings in South Africa, the UK and Australia; with a special interest in Paediatrics. Carmen is passionate about the link between movement and learning: how core strength, coordination and executive function shape a child’s readiness for the classroom and everyday life. Today, Carmen works in private practice and as the OT behind Ready Steady Go Kids, Australia’s leading multi-sport program for children aged 18 months to 6 years. She is also a Ready Steady Go Kids franchisee, bringing her OT expertise to classes and early learning centre incursions in her local community. She’s a mum of three and a firm believer that active play and learning go hand in hand.
KIDDO is something fun, something different, something every child, educator and parent can enjoy. KIDDO makes it easy for you to help children develop the skills and confidence to be active for life.
