Klimate.co invites you to their event

From compliance to competitive advantage: Navigating the new carbon credit reality

About this event

Rules governing corporate climate action and carbon credit use are evolving rapidly. What was once considered best practice now requires careful navigation to avoid legal and reputational risks. This webinar explores strategies for using carbon credits – including insetting and offsetting – to drive decarbonisation.

Session attendees can expect to learn:

  • Navigating Evolving Regulations: Understand how changing regulations impact your carbon credit strategy and corporate climate action plans.
  • Decarbonisation Strategy & Carbon Credit Use: Learn how to align carbon credit procurement with decarbonisation efforts, including using insetting and offsetting for long-term sustainability.
  • Practical Examples: See real-world examples of how different sectors, including real estate, are responding to these shifts.

We’ll begin with an overview of the relevant EU regulations, then make the case for developing a carbon credit strategy now to manage and hedge future price risks, illustrated by concrete examples from sectors such as real estate. We’ll share how expectations are shaping carbon asset portfolios, the transition from offsetting to piloting CDR strategies, and how organisations can profit through engagement.

Our expert speakers will break down these complex topics using clear, actionable insights, ensuring you leave with a strategic roadmap for your organisation's climate journey.
