This " is a practical and insightful training session organized by the Latin America IP SME Helpdesk, in collaboration with Mercado Libre designed to equip European SMEs with the essential tools to protect and enforce their Intellectual Property (IP) rights in the digital marketplace.
The growth of e-commerce in Latin America offers exciting opportunities for SMEs to expand and thrive in new markets. Alongside this growth, however, comes the need to address intellectual property (IP) challenges—particularly the protection of rights in online environments., . This session will address the core IP challenges faced by SMEs operating or planning to expand into Latin American markets, with a special focus on enforcement strategies in online environments.
We are pleased to welcome Mercado Libre, Latin America’s largest e-commerce platform, as our special guest speaker. Representatives from Mercado Libre will provide an inside look into the platform’s IP protection policies, its Brand Protection Program, and practical advice on how SMEs can monitor and defend their rights effectively.
