Diabetes is receiving increasing focus as the scale of the challenge facing the NHS comes to light. As the new world of integrated care systems (ICSs) turns its priorities towards Diabetes, it opens up the opportunities for industry, including collaborative working and best-practice sharing.

In this FREE 60 minute live event, Shailen Rao, Managing Director of Soar Beyond and trusted thought-leader and innovator in the field of medicines management takes a look at how the ICSs will tackle the health challenge, as well as the potential decisions and tactics that pharma needs to look out for.

He will be joined by an NHS Expert to discuss the potential decisions and tactics that pharma needs to look out for.

    Dr Patricia Hurton

    Patricia brings a wealth of expertise, as a GP with special interest in diabetes at an NHS England clinical pharmacy pilot practice and over 20 year’s experience as a GP partner at The Cedarbrook Practice, until retiring this year. Since 2004 Patricia has worked as a GPSI in diabetes for Hillingdon community services and is now working two days per week with the community diabetes team, which is run by Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. Patricia’s experience includes being an elected board member of the Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), a diabetes clinical lead for Hillingdon CCG and chair of the local diabetes network board. She has been involved in the commissioning and redesign of local diabetes services and has remained at a more localised level as one of the clinical leads for a Hillingdon Primary Care Network, focusing on diabetes care, diabetes prevention and diabetes remission.
