Life Science Access Academy Ltd invites you to their event

Sustainability - Becoming Carbon Literate

About this event

What does sustainability actually mean?

We answer this vital question, defining what sustainability is, its challenges and opportunities, what it requires of us all and why it is such an overriding priority for the whole planet.

The jury is no longer out on the need for environmental change – the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and countless experts have presented compelling evidence clearly articulating the threat and demanding a paradigm-shift towards assertive sustainability.

Taking an evidence-based approach, we will assess this serious global challenge, the key influencers behind the drive and why the existential threat of climate change can no longer be ignored.

Join us for the first of two unmissable masterclasses that will address the crucial issue of sustainability, the extent of the challenge and the actions that are now imperative to avert the predicted climate crisis.

    Michelle Sullivan

Michelle has had a diverse career in pharmaceutical and medical devices, first working in the industry in 1990. As a lateral thinker and strategist, her employers such as Covidien/Medtronic, and Boston Scientific, have often created roles to capitalise on her knowledge and skills, helping them to respond to the prevailing market conditions. A graduate biologist with a long-standing career in sales, management, marketing, and market development, Michelle chose to re-train in Health Economics at York University, adding the value ‘spectacles’ and ‘hearing-aids’ she employs today when working with the business leaders of her current employer, their customers (the NHS), and various industry bodies. Her current in-depth understanding of COVID and its implications, has led to a dedicated following on Linked-in, and a focus on how we can best work and show unique value in the new ‘COVID-WORLD’ that is upon us.
