Life Science Access Academy Ltd invites you to their event

Understanding the ABPI Code and social media

About this event

The ABPI Code has been with us since the 1950s, but how has it adapted to accommodate the needs of promotion in the social media age?

This one-hour event will look at the general promotions and interactions covered by the Code, focusing on the use of new platforms that make the provision of information so much easier.

The session will be hosted by ABPI Code expert, John Chater. He has been involved in NHS and compliance training for more than 15 years. As a trainer and presenter, John has delivered training to many of the world’s largest pharma and medtech companies. He has also worked in the NHS in policy and information roles.

By attending you’ll take away:

  • An understanding of the general rules about legitimate promotion and interactions with healthcare providers, other relevant decision-makers and organisations.
  • Knowledge of how the Code extends to new media – the beartraps and pitfalls to avoid to keep you compliant

There will be an interactive Q&A session to ask John your Code questions and challenges.
