About this event
Every brand and producer is concerned about sustainability - some brands better than others. Some industries fare better in their approach, but what is the overall, generational, global effect of our materials choices in reducing impact? What is the state of sustainability in the consumer-facing design industries?
Join us as we take a broad, multi-industry look at the state of our current approach to reducing environmental impact through material selection, and what steps we really need to take now to further reduce this footprint.
Sustainability and circular economy are top of mind for manufacturers and consumers... but what does that mean for material scientists, engineers, and designers? How might we best address these issues?
Drs. Andrew Dent and Gayatri Keskar host a series of discussions surrounding material and technology solutions that address the extremes that our industries, and the world around us, continue to face in regard to climate change and raw material sourcing.
( ! ) This event will be recorded and made available to academic members. Student registration is not required.
A recording will be made available to registered guests if you're unable to join us live.
