About this event
Learn how to securely access and query data stored on-premises in AIStor directly from Databricks, without copying or moving the data first.
In this 2-hour, instructor-led hands-on technical virtual workshop, you'll build a live table share, secure access, connect monitoring, and query AIStor data from Databricks yourself in real time. Space is limited to 40 participants. Register early to secure your spot.
Why Attend?
Enterprise data often needs to remain on-premises for security, governance, cost, sovereignty, or operational requirements. AIStor Table Sharing enables Databricks users to work with that data directly while keeping the underlying data in AIStor.
You'll work in a live lab environment and build the configuration yourself.
Who This Workshop Is For
Data engineers, platform architects, and infrastructure/storage engineers working with hybrid or on-premises Databricks environments.
What We'll Cover
1. Build the Share - Create and consume a table share containing Delta and Iceberg data from Databricks.
2. Secure the Share - Configure IAM policies, scoped access, tokens, and permissions.
3. Monitor the Share - Use audit logging and Prometheus metrics to monitor activity and manage token access.
What You'll Walk Away With
