Chris has been carrying out security audits since 1996, performing thousands of penetration tests, code reviews and design reviews on a wide variety of platforms, languages and architectures for many of the world’s largest companies. As Chief Scientist, he promotes, advises and assists with NCC Group research programs, as well as carrying out independent research into new and emerging security threats. He has published a wealth of security research in a variety of areas including foundational papers in application security, several books on database and application security and a range of research into Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Olly has 15 years experience in the cyber industry, working in a range of roles across NCC Group from sales, portfolio management and proposition development. His recent work has focused on shaping our offering to the market around Securing AI, ensuring we bring the best of our capabilities together and present them in a way which supports our clients in navigating the various challenges and opportunities that it represents. Olly will be hosting the 'Securing AI: Building Cyber Resilience in an AI-Driven World' webinar to delve into the topics with the panel from NCC Group.
David Brauchler III is an NCC Group Technical Director in Dallas, Texas. He is an adjunct professor for the Cyber Security graduate program at Southern Methodist University with a master's degree in Security Engineering and the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification David Brauchler published Analyzing AI Application Threat Models on NCC Group's research blog, introducing new Models-As-Threat-Actors (MATA) methodology to the AI security industry, which provided a new trust flow centric approach to evaluating risk in AI/ML-integrated environments. David also released several new threat vector categories, AI/ML security controls, and recommendations to maximize the effectiveness of AI penetration tests.
Siân John MBE is Chief Technology Officer at NCC Group responsible for intelligence, insight and innovation within the company. Siân has worked in Cybersecurity for 25 years across strategy, business risk, privacy, and technology. She is a Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Information Security, Chair of the techUK Cyber security committee, and a council member for the Engineering and Physical Sciences Council (EPSRC). Siân was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s 2018 New Year’s Honours List for services to cyber security.
An experienced government affairs and policy professional, Verona oversees NCC Group’s engagement with UK government and regulatory decision-makers and the wider policymaking community, against a backdrop of the increasing regulation of cyber resilience.
