NETRI invites you to their event

How to use the strength of compartmentalization for CIPN applications?

About this event

  • Introduction to DuaLink µGrooves NeuroFluidics Devices & PNS NeuroFluidics Cultures
  • Use Case: Paclitaxel & Oxaliplatin chemotherapy agents
  • Paving the way for electrophysiological impact of a chemotherapeutic agent on sensory neurons (CIPN on MEA)
  • Q&A

More details: In this webinar, we will present the results of the development and experimental validation of this model. To demonstrate the benefits of compartmentalization, we used a DuaLink µGrooves NeuroFluidics Devices & PNS NeuroFluidics Cultures to develop a CIPN-on-chip platform. In this model, hiPSC-derived sensory neurons were cultured for 21 days to reach full maturity. Two antineoplastic agents were then added to either the soma or the axonal compartment (depending on the reported mechanisms of action). Axonal degeneration was observed and measured, in line with previously published studies.
