Norsk Hydro invites you to their event

Decarbonizing aluminium together: value chain collaboration from casthouse to components

About this event

As automotive sustainability ambitions accelerate, aluminium plays a vital role in enabling lighter, more circular vehicles. However, recycling alone will not meet growing demand or achieve net-zero targets — continued decarbonization of primary aluminium production is equally critical.

This webinar will explore how primary production and advanced recycling must evolve in parallel to deliver meaningful emissions reductions. We will examine scrap quality and suitability, and highlight the importance of value chain collaboration in providing transparent, credible carbon reductions.

We will also share practical insights into how we integrate primary and recycled production, supported by robust LCA and site-specific data, to enable informed, like-for-like decision-making.
