Democratizing Donations: How to Help Donors Give Without Breaking the Bank

About this event

Nonprofits rely on supporters to fulfill their missions. While monetary support is what many of us will think of first, it is just one of the many ways supporters can engage with your nonprofit. Hear from the industry experts on this panel and learn more about how providing different avenues for support can improve your donor engagement, build relationships, lead to new donors, and strengthen your nonprofit overall.

Meet the Panelists

John Bromley, Founder & CEO at Charitable Impact

John Bromley grew up with charity at the core of his family’s values. He started his career in corporate finance working with PwC and RBC Capital Markets. He then went to work with one of the world’s foremost experts in charity law, his father Blake Bromley. After developing an in-depth understanding of the complex world underpinning the charity sector, John recognized a need to make giving more accessible and more effective. He saw that while wanting to help others comes naturally, knowing how to make a difference through charitable giving does not. With that in mind, John went on to launch Charitable Impact. He has spoken at TEDx and was named one of Business in Vancouver’s 40 under 40.

His background is in management consulting, where he worked with Fortune 500 companies to develop strategies for emerging technologies like AI, IoT, blockchain, and cryptocurrency. Alex graduated from Wake Forest University School of Business, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Enterprise Management and a concentration in International Business. Due to his unique expertise in Crypto Philanthropy, Alex has been featured in numerous publications including Forbes, USA Today, Bloomberg to name a few.
