Christal M. Cherry, The Board Pro, worked 23 years as a nonprofit fundraiser serving higher education institutions, seminaries, and human service organizations. Now as a board consultant for nonprofits, she equips and empowers boards to support their missions and change the world. Her services as Principal and CEO of the Board Pro, include recruitment, governance, fundraising, conflict resolution and diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and belonging.
Ron Barrett is the VP of Nonprofit Services at Cogency Global Inc., a professional registered agent company. He developed a comprehensive suite of nonprofit products and services that Cogency Global currently offers to legal, accounting and nonprofit clients. Ron is the author of Nonprofit Fundraising Registration: Nolo’s 50-State Digital Guide. He has authored numerous articles and has presented public and in-house CLE and CPE seminars on state charitable registration requirements around the country. Furthermore, he is also a Standards for Excellence Institute Licensed Consultant, a Founding Member of The Nonprofit Alliance, a member of the Nonprofit Advisory Board, a current member and former President of Capital Toastmasters in DC, Corresponding Secretary of the Baltimore Kickers, and is the President of the Ellicott City Rotary Club.
