With the new year right around the corner, what should be at the top of the checklist for nonprofit leaders? Join us as we sit and chat with some nonprofit industry experts on what modern nonprofit leaders can do to best support their mission.
Sabrina Walker Hernandez has over 25 years of experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and leadership. She grew her operation revenue from $750,000 to $2.5M and completed a $12M capital campaign. She is certified in Nonprofit Management by Harvard Business School and is a bestselling author.
Paul Lamb has over 25 years of experience as a consultant, nonprofit executive, and entrepreneur. He is currently the Principal of Man on a Mission Consulting and a consultant with Mission Met, specializing in strategic planning, fundraising, research, and facilitation/training in the social sector. He has built five successful nonprofit organizations and social enterprises in the areas of youth, workforce development, and digital inclusion. His business background includes positions as Director of Programs at the US-China Business Council in Washington, D.C., a business analyst for Ernst & Young, and a marketing consultant for both U.S. and Asian firms. Paul is also an author, blogger, and radio commentator and his Op-Eds have appeared in a broad range of media outlets including NPR, the San Francisco Chronicle, CNET, the Huffington Post, and the Baltimore Sun. He also been featured in books such as “The Networked Nonprofit” and “Finding Your Passion: The Easy Guide to Your Dream Career."
Rebecca is a founding partner of Next Step Partners, a global leadership development firm. As an expert in executive coaching and career development, Rebecca coaches C-suite executives and other senior leaders across the globe. In addition to several ventured-backed startups, Rebecca’s clients have included Amazon, Clorox, DocuSign, Dropbox, Genentech, Google, The Irvine Foundation, Norwest Venture Partners, Morrison Foerster, Santander Bank, The Packard Foundation and Stanford’s Distinguished Careers Institute, among other organizations. She is a regular contributor to Harvard Business Review, Forbes and CNBC.
Rebecca graduated as valedictorian from Stern School of Business at NYU and received her MBA from Stanford. She then worked for Goldman Sachs in New York and at Disney EMEA in Paris and Robertson Stephens. She received her coaching certification from the CTI and from Minds at Work.
