Joy Duling has been working with leaders of associations, trade groups and nonprofits since 2005, through her consulting practice which is aptly named The Joy of Membership. In this role, she has gained recognition as a speaker, online educator, podcaster, and trusted advisor. For more than a decade, Joy also served as the Executive Director for a nonprofit that she guided from just an idea raised at a conference room table to a fully operational nonprofit with annual membership revenues of $1.3 million. In 2021, Joy launched a software platform called JourneyCARE.app which focuses on helping small organizations leverage technology to streamline operations and provide exceptional member care.
Artesha Moore, FASAE, CAE is the President and CEO of Association Forum, the “association of associations” in Chicago, IL. She brings more than 20 years of association management experience to Association Forum. Throughout her career, she has helped associations set and exceed aggressive membership and volunteer engagement goals while integrating new technology solutions and strategies. She has honed her leadership skills with organizations representing a variety of industries including healthcare, engineering, and scientific research institutions. Artesha works tirelessly to create lasting structures that help identify volunteers and staff whose voices and ideas were not being heard and provide them with opportunities to lead.
Brian Van Norman is a Certified Association Executive with more than 25 years of experience in the association and non-profit leadership sector. He has served as the chief staff member for associations ranging in size from 8,000 to more than 225,000 members. Van Norman has spent more than 20 years oversees the strategic planning, direction and success of chapter relations for associations ranging from 30 to more than 430 national and worldwide chapters.
Mariama, President & CEO of Achieve More, creates safe spaces for organizations and people to transform through change. She celebrates over 20 years as a visionary educator, administrator, executive leader, and strategist. Her mission includes delivering results, developing capacity, scaling up, and growing organizations.
She helps people and organizations find shared purpose during times of transition by connecting them to their deepest feelings and highest aspirations of what’s possible. Mariama creates frameworks for constructive dialogue and action planning and helps prioritize what is of the greatest value to address the greatest needs.
As an award-winning educational administrator, DEIA+A visionary, executive leader, and coach, her content knowledge spans over 100 topics in leadership, DEIA+A, and wellbeing with a worldwide impact that includes 1,000+ trainings and programs, 550 projects and consultations with over 800 groups and teams.
