Brian Lynch, Assistant Vice President & Client Executive for Associations & Nonprofits at Ames & Gough

Brian is an Assistant Vice President, and the leader of the Association & Nonprofit division, located in the Washington, D.C. office. Brian holds a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) and Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS) designation. He is a consultant-member of The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Brian was named one of Insurance Business America’s Top Specialist Brokers in 2020 and 2021 for his work and contributions in the association and nonprofit arena.

Elizabeth Barchenger, Director at Mahoney

Elizabeth Barchenger is an Assurance team Director at Mahoney with over a decade in public accounting. Elizabeth’s primary area of practice includes providing audit and accounting services to not-for-profit organizations, including those with Uniform Guidance requirements. As an auditor of these organizations, she often spends time evaluating risks related to clients’ internal controls and financial statements. She enjoys providing guidance to finance leaders on how to customize controls in an evolving IT/remote environment while satisfying compliance and maintaining their effectiveness.
